Fresno City College Campus Reopens: A Message from the President
'We greatly appreciate your patience as we navigated this severe issue that damaged the college’s main water lines.'
Fresno City College (FCC) is pleased to announce that the campus will reopen on Thursday, February 5, 2026, after addressing a critical issue that affected the main water lines. The college community can now resume their daily activities, but there are a few important updates to keep in mind.
Further testing on the water lines leading to Building A is necessary. As a precautionary measure, faculty, staff, and students are advised not to drink the tap water in Building A until the additional testing is completed and the results are received. Restrooms in Building A are operational and can be used, but please follow the guidance posted on signs throughout the building.
The President, Denise Whisenhunt, J.D., extends her gratitude to the Building Services Department for their unwavering commitment and support during this challenging period. Several events were postponed and relocated this week to accommodate the necessary work schedule and prior commitments.
For more information and updates, stay tuned to the college's official communication channels. Together, we can ensure a safe and healthy environment for all.
Sincerely,
Denise Whisenhunt, J.D.
President
